Vehicle Damage Assessor – Denaby

As a vehicle damage assessor with AW Repair Group, you will become part of the AW family. Our VDA Team comprises of a Central Damage Assessment Unit based in Nottingham, which is an image only unit working for all 11 sites, and a team of on-site assessors across all sites who work closely with technicians, direct customers and assessing high impact non-driveable vehicles.
Several of our sites have achieved AW TecKnowlogy Centre status which means they hold the Tesla approval and at least one other significant prestige manufacturer. They are fully equipped with in-house ADAS equipment, aluminium and multi-material booths with technicians trained to work on the latest releases in the electric vehicle market.
You will ideally have at least two years’ experience as a VDA or significant years’ experience in motor trade parts or as an accident repair technician. Applicants holding the ATA accreditation will be Fast Tracked through the application process however we are able to provide training and mentoring for those yet to achieve the qualification.
You will be able to prioritise your workload both independently and as a team with a Right First-Time approach. You will be commercially aware of our contractual obligations and working for a Carbon Neutral company you will be considerate of both environmental and financial factors in selecting the most appropriate repair or replace processes.

The position hours to be covered are 8.30am to 5.30pm and one in three Saturdays 9am to 12noon, however constructive consideration will be given to pro rata/alternative hours providing the position can be adequately serviced by the whole team.
