MET / Strip & Fit Technician – Sleaford

Your Team

As an MET / Strip & Fit Technician, we want all our staff to take pride in the quality of their workmanship. Customer safety is our priority; therefore, all our repairs are carried out to the highest manufacturer and industry standards. Our whole team are focused on delivering what’s important to each customer.

Working as a team, as an MET / Strip & Fit Technician you will be expected to assist on making decisions on the appropriate repair method with our Vehicle Damage Assessors.

Several of our branches have achieved AW TecKnowlogy Centre status which means they hold the Tesla approval and at least one other significant prestige manufacturer. They are fully equipped with in-house ADAS equipment, aluminium and multi-material booths with technicians trained to work on the latest releases in the electric vehicle market.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an MET/Strip & Fit Technician to carry out a variety of aspects within the body shop. This will include remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles. Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic work.

Previous experience as an MET / Strip & Fit Technician with the relevant qualifications is a requirement for the role.

Paint Technician – Sleaford

Your Team

As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out prep, polishing and painting. Paint Technicians are able to demonstrate a high attention to detail when it comes to spraying vehicles, which also includes preparing panels ready for the application of paint, refurbishing painted alloy wheels and polishing. Plus using computer systems to ensure that there is a correct colour match, as well as masking, and other paint requirements to ensure a quality finish of each vehicle.

Candidate Requirements

You will ideally have at least two years’ experience as a Paint Technician and/or hold an ATA qualification.

You will be able to prioritise your workload both independently and as a team with a Right First-Time approach.

Specialising in replacing and/or repairing damaged panels, whether this requires dents and scratches to be repaired to pre-accident damage, or the replacement of a new panel, ability and skill is required. Previous experience as a panel technician with the relevant qualifications is a requirement for the role.

Experience in aluminium repair capability would be beneficial, however not essential as full training can be provided.
