Special Recognition Award – Niel Harmston

Niel Harmston, AW Repair Group’s longest serving member, has been nominated for a Special Recognition Award for his flexibility and contribution to the AW Lincoln site since it opened in March this year.

Niel, who joined the company as a partsman 20 years ago, has pulled on all his experience in his past roles as a Senior Vehicle Damage Assessor, Assistant Manager and Workshop Control to assist the site’s early development.

Niel was nominated by Group Bodyshop Manager Wayne Oakes who said Niel steps in wherever is needed as well as holding his very busy position as the on-site VDA.

Niel was also filmed for our soon-to-be released documentary series “AW – A Career For Life” explaining how he has mentored many of the company’s new and trainee assessors.
