AN industry ‘Oscar’ was presented to AW Repair Group last night (27th June 2012) as the company scooped an Outstanding Achievement Award from Citreon UK at the British Bodyshop Awards.
The glittering event, hosted by TV presenter Gaby Logan in London, invited vehicle manufacturers and insurers to present awards to network crash repairers.
Citreon selected AW Repair Group in recognition of the prestigious new purpose built facility which opened in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, in February serving as the group’s HQ. Within three months the site was one of only a handful in the UK to receive Porsche UK approval with LandRover closely following.
The Group’s managing director Andrew Walsh said: “This came as a complete surprise and very much appreciated, particularly after all the hard work the AW team has put into the HQ relocation. The new site was developed from the outset to boost our prestige manufacturer approvals portfolio and to gain Porsche was a great accolade indeed.
He contined: “The repair of modern day vehicles requires the technical skill, training and data direct from the manufacturer and working in partnership with dealers in the locality we can offer prestige vehicle owners the security that their vehicle will be returned to the manufacturers exacting standards following minor or major collision damage.”
