County Company in line for Bodyshop Oscar

AW Accident Repair Centres (Lincolnshire), based in Sleaford, has reached the finals of Bodyshop Magazine’s national Bodyshop of the Year Award – the industry’s equivalent to the Oscars.

Only three crash repair centres have been selected as finalists with the winner to be announced at a glittering ceremony next Friday (September 20th).

Managing Director Andrew Walsh said: “We won Bodyhop Magazine’s Customer Care Award in 2004 and many other centres have implemented some of our winning procedures since.

“But the coup every year is the Bodyshop of the Year title which we have narrowly missed on a number of occasions. We hope this year we will be successful.”

The judges were impressed with the company’s range of anxcillary services making the company more than just a bodyshop. Tyres, air conditioning servicing, fast track paintless dent removal, performance styling parts, and non fault accident assistance are some of the additional services available at

“Customers lead busy lives and being able to offer these additional services in a ‘one stop shop’ format has been widely praised,” continued Mr Walsh.

The crash repair centre, which has a second branch near Rotherham, South Yorkshire also reached the final of the Motor Trader Magazine Awards’ bodyshop category in July.
