MORE than 50 specially invited guests attended the official opening of AW Repair Group's new Lincolnshire facility and group HQ on Wednesday 4th April. Managing Director Andrew Walsh told guests that the relocation had enabled new processes and practices to be put into place further reducing key to key and cycle times. New fast repair methods were later demonstrated on a two hour tour of the facility led by branch manager Steve Hoe.

HUNDREDS of car fans turned out to see the Batmobile, Herbie and KnightRider's KITT at the AW Repair Group family charity fun event on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

[/kml_flashembed]AW Repair Group is pleased to announce work has commenced on a purpose built group HQ and FastTrack facility. The group’s Lincolnshire operation will also relocate to the 17,000 sq ft development adjacent to its current site with the £1.2m project due to be complete by January 2012. Managing Director Andrew Walsh said: “We have outgrown our existing premises in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, and have designed a high tech facility around the future needs of the industry.” The new development will include Symach drying technology, full aluminium capability, while you wait repair processes with customer wi-fi lounge, central point of notification hub and training facility.

The bodyshop group’s South Nottinghamshire branch manager James Dunn was winner of the Personal Development award and the group was the winner of the Most Switched On Business award for use of technology within a business at the 2009 regional business awards sponsored by Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce. Guest of honor, Nick Hewer, known for his stern bespectacled watch over contestants on their 12-week BBC-filmed interview to become Sir Alan’s Apprentice, congratulated all the winners at a glittering prize ceremony on Wednesday (25th November, 2009).
