AW launch new website

AS part of AW Repair Group’s on-going brand awareness the business is pleased to launch its newly designed website.

The site aims to send out a strong message to promote the company’s slogan – Keeping you moving – and illustrate their commitment to a customer centric approach delivered by the positive and friendly front line teams.

IMG_3654The modern and mobile friendly website launch coincides with strengthening the AW branding across its four sites. This includes a redesign of the reception areas with the striking corporate blue and orange seating, branded glass screens and welcoming drop-fronted customer liaison reception units.
Jade Johnson, Business Development, Marketing & Communications at AW said: “We had a lot of information on our website, perhaps too much, and monitoring our web tracking statistics helped us to decide which areas the customers need most frequently and quickly.

“It is now divided into four main sections – About us, Customer Services, Locations and Partners – which is streamlined, user friendly and information can be located easily.

“About us provides an insight into the background of AW. We have chosen to promote our services under the general banner Customer Services where our ‘Quick Quote’ feature can be found. The Locations page helps users locate their nearest AW site and our Partners section promotes the manufacturer and insurance approvals across our group.”123

The website redesign, which follows on from the launch of the AW Crash App in 2015, has all the functions of a fully integrated mobile device platform.

A streamlining of digital communication processes during autumn has also increased customer interaction.

“Our customer post-repair email encourages customers to give feedback and we now receive the majority of our CSI scores from this email link, the App and the website, compared to the previous freepost cards,” added Jade.

AW well wishers raise £1,079 for British Heart Foundation

WELL wishers have helped AW Repair Group raise no less than £1,079 for the British Heart Foundation.

BHF1After the Sleaford, Lincolnshire, branch won the coveted title of National Bodyshop of the Year six weeks ago the company pledged to donate £1 to the charity for every congratulatory email, tweet, like and view received.

Big hearted boss Andrew Walsh decided to share his success with the BHF in memory of his late father who passed away earlier this year.

“Winning National Bodyshop of the Year was a proud moment for everyone in the company. My amazing father who encouraged me to set up my first bodyshop in 1993 would have been very proud too,” said Andrew.

“Last year he underwent a triple heart by-pass but sadly passed away in February. Although he was not here to see AW Repair Group win I wanted to acknowledge his unwavering support and the British Heart Foundation came to mind straight away.

“We started receiving lots of messages congratulating us on the win so we decided to donate £1 for every one received over the following two weeks.”

Well wishers viewed the company’s win, recorded live on the night and published on their YouTube channel, no less than 853 times with the remainder made up from direct emails, texts, Facebook likes, comments and shares, and Twitter favourites and retweets.

AW Repair Group was founded by Andrew Walsh in Sleaford in 1998. It now has branches in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire employing 120 staff and repairing around 160 accident damaged vehicles each week for household name insurance companies and corporate fleets.

This is the message to our customers as we launch a comprehensive mobile device app including on-the-scene crash data capture.

More than a year in development the group’s application AW Accident App is now available to download free from the Apple and android market.
Carefully constructed to appeal to our past customers, future and present, the app offers a range of services in the palm of your hand.
Customers are encouraged with a welcome email to download the app to track the vehicle claim and repair process in the palm of their hand.
Meanwhile social media followers have already downloaded the app and used the QuickQuote calculator for minor repairs with the option to send images direct to AW Repair Group’s VDAs for expert help and guidance.

And the handy app doesn’t stop there…users are encouraged to retain the app on their device to help guide them through the mind-numbing moment of being involved in an accident. On-the-scene data capture allows users to contemporaneously note accident circumstances, location, weather, other party details, witnesses and photographic evidence.

With a further module to provide feedback and one touch dialling there is much value to the app for customers and for AW Repair Group who can also interact with users via push notifications.
