We are pleased to announce that Ben Dunn has been appointed as Group Engineering Manager.

Ben first joined AW in November 2016 at our Newark site. Living in Nottingham, Ben was offered a dual role at our Nottingham site when opening in January 2017 setting up the parts department while training as a VDA.

Ben has a vast knowledge of the industry, having worked at Euro Car Parts as a Parts Advisor, promoted to Operations Supervisor at ECP, leaving there he then went on to be a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor at Sytner’s new purpose built BMW Bodyshop in Nottingham.

Ben worked right through the pandemic in our Consolidated Emergency Team at the Nottingham site where in July 2020 he played a big part in setting up our new Central Damage Unit and manages this department today. Ben will be taking on this new group position while overseeing the central team with the help from Mick Castles and Radu Barcaru assisting him as Group VDA Support.  These changes will help strengthen the Vehicle Damage Team across the group.

We’re sure you will join us in congratulating and supporting Ben in his new role. Good luck Ben and Team.
