AW – A Career for Life series

The stories of two very different vehicle damage assessors are explored in the latest double bill of our docuseries AW: A Career for Life.

Senior VDA Niel Harmston joined the company 22 years ago in parts procurement and has grown and developed his career. He has been a great mentor to many colleagues at AW which he calls his second home.

“I am happy and proud to share everything I know. AW has a great apprenticeship programme and is always keen on personal development and internal career progression, said Niel.

Meanwhile former Romanian lawyer Radu Barcaru has been a Vehicle Damage Assessor with AW Repair Group for four years: He explained: “I am a lawyer by university degree but I choose cars. Cars don’t lie, they show you what their faults are!”

Radu goes onto to say that every day is different, and he enjoys his job which he sees as a career for “all life long.”
