AW Repair Group is delighted to announce the expansion of their geographical coverage with the opening of a new hi tech bodyshop in March.
Located in the developing commercial zone known as Markham Vale, off junction 29a of the M1 near Chesterfield, the 15,000sq feet site is ideally placed to expand the group’s geographical coverage into Derbyshire neatly linking the Rotherham (South Yorkshire) and Newark (Nottinghamshire) sites.
Managing Director Andrew Walsh said: “We have been looking for a fourth location for some time and Markham Vale perfectly fits our plans. With immediate access to the M1 this central corridor is now thrown wide open to AW Repair Group.
“We selected the site carefully to provide the quality bodyshop space and environment associated with AW Repair Group’s existing sites and of course we shall be carrying forward our synonymous branding.”
Installation of equipment is well underway including:
● Two 8-meter Junair Spraybooths complete with energy packs, LED lighting, iSystem touch control and the uniquely patented quad drying system;
● 12 module Minden Dust Extraction complete with energy saving auto remote switch off and integral three phase for multibay operations;
● 3 bay Blackhawk Korek in-floor pulling system complete with ramps;
● Car-O-Liner Bench Rack 5000
Energy saving devices such as LED lighting and radiant heating have also been included.
The group is an existing user of the Autoflow Bodyshop Management System and will be implementing Autoflow’s recently launched Grouped View allowing single click access to all branches to complement the Group Hub and First Response Team based at AW Repair Group Nottinghamshire.
“The First Response Team has worked extremely well over the past 18 months to maximise group capacity and resources,” said Andrew. “Indeed it helped us to map out the best location for site four which will also be a drop off centre for our specialist structural aluminium repair centre at the group’s Lincolnshire headquarters.” The site is structural aluminium approved for Land Rover and Audi.
New administration staff have been working within AW Group since October to learn the processes and procedures and understand the company’s ethos of providing a customer experience beyond the simple notion of expected quality crash repair.
“We are very pleased to have the support of our work partners, re-joining forces with former partners and now be in a position to work with new customers needing consistent quality accident repair and customer care within timely SLAs in the Derbyshire and central corridor localities,” continued Andrew.
“We are also pleased to broaden our partnership with the PPG team and our recently appointed distributor partner LKQ Coatings.”
“The site will be accredited with the new British Standard for vehicle damage repair BS10125 and we look forward to seizing the opportunities that Markham Vale will bring,” he added.
