As a Volkswagen Audi approved bodyshop we were invited along to the Volkswagen National Learning Centre this week to learn more about the brand identity and marketing.
There were 7 people on this training course varying from myself in Business Development and Marketing to Workshop Managers and Directors of other businesses. It was nice to hear the different sides to each business, as some were Independent body shops, and others were through dealers.
The VWG National Learning Centre is an excellent facility, as you would expect from such a work renowned brand. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the building and the facilities which are outstanding. Workshops with their own adjoining classrooms. Audi even have different chairs for their staff training who were very professional, friendly and approachable.
As an ice-breaker we introduced ourselves by selecting the picture which best represented us – mine being a camera. It was a very interesting way to find out about each other.
I have learned much from this course, which I am looking forward to taking back into the workplace. We discussed all forms of social and print media as well as CNE’s – do you know what CNE’s are?! Now that’s a question!

Volkswagen also have an exceptional apprenticeship programme, may be worth looking into, especially if you’re reading this and thinking I need to get myself to that VWG Learning Centre!!
