Good evening all! Thoroughly enjoyed today at the Showcase, Market and Sell Road Show – MANSFIELD/ASHFIELD. We hosted a competition in which we asked people in attendance to guess the car manufacturer a particular wing belonged to.

Those who answered correctly will be entered into our PRIZE draw! If you think you know and for your chance to win, have a look at the attached picture and tweet us your answer. Good luck!

AudaMobile helps AW streamline vehicle assessments.

Following the launch of AudaMobile, a successful trial has led to the vehicle damage assessors here at AW ditching their clipboards and equipping their IPad’s. This revolutionary paperless mobile tool has created a technological change to the automotive repair industry and AW Repair Group are set to take full advantage of the benefits gained.

A key advantage is that assessments are carried out in front of the customer, the interaction naturally is increased and the customer openly engages in repair decisions. Here the vehicle damage assessor is able to develop a relationship, highlighting damage caused and work which will need to be carried out. This enables the estimate price to become more accurate and the customer is made aware of the costing’s there and then.

Through AudaMobile, AW have not only increased the estimate conversion rate but also the efficiency of the whole process. AW Repair Group are able to schedule and order the required parts early so the vehicle is returned to the customer in a prompt, professional manner and to its original state.

The core to AW’s success is their constant drive and demand to exceed their customers’ expectations. Embedded into their culture is to be never content, always challenge processors and keep on top of the technology curve. By implementing the use of AudaMobile they are able to maintain these values and build upon them.

VWG Marketing Course

VW4

As a Volkswagen Audi approved bodyshop we were invited along to the Volkswagen National Learning Centre this week to learn more about the brand identity and marketing.

There were 7 people on this training course varying from myself in Business Development and Marketing to Workshop Managers and Directors of other businesses. It was nice to hear the different sides to each business, as some were Independent body shops, and others were through dealers.VW5

VWThe VWG National Learning Centre is an excellent facility, as you would expect from such a work renowned brand. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the building and the facilities which are outstanding. Workshops with their own adjoining classrooms. Audi even have different chairs for their staff training who were very professional, friendly and approachable.

As an ice-breaker we introduced ourselves by selecting the picture which best represented us – mine being a camera. It was a very interesting way to find out about each other.

I have learned much from this course, which I am looking forward to taking back into the workplace. We discussed all forms of social and print media as well as CNE’s – do you know what CNE’s are?! Now that’s a question!
Surprisingly enough, I’m not going to give you all my marketing GOLD, but I’m sure if you link to us on our social media you’ll get a pretty good idea! 🙂

Volkswagen also have an exceptional apprenticeship programme, may be worth looking into, especially if you’re reading this and thinking I need to get myself to that VWG Learning Centre!!

Remember anything you need to ask about your vehicle, accident repair or more I’m just a phone call away.

AW Repair Group show the love.

Managing Director Andrew Walsh sporting a lovely red jumper.

On Friday the 14th of February, AW Repair Group showed their support of Rainbow Trust by taking part in I love claims day and wearing red to work.

With sites covering the East Midlands and Humberside, the AW team at all three sites got involved and donated generously. This created an upbeat environment and made for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Students at Sir William Robertson Academy, learn valuable road safety lesson and how to reduce their car insurance.

2fast2soonThe 2fast2soon team delivered a production full of impact and education for the students at Sir William Robertson Academy. Through various interactive experiences, the students we’re able to engage with the team and learn the possible severe consequences if you don’t give the roads your full attention.

Working in close partnership with the 2fast2soon team, AW was also able to educate students how to reduce their car insurance! We know insurance is extremely expensive for new drivers, so we came up with a solution.

Simply increase your optional policy excess and purchase an excess protection policy. For just £60 we will pay out up to £1,000.

Alternatively ask your mum or dad to add you to their insurance policy, increase the excess and you buy them an excess protection policy – possibly getting yourself insured for just £60 per annum!! The excess protection policy covers all named drivers so if they bash the car they won’t have to pay the excess either!
